Cheryl Gandesha
Let your life be a canvas where wild petals and brave choices collide.
My work is all about emotion and energy, the feeling of something blossoming, shifting, or coming alive on the canvas.
Wild Petal Studio grew from a simple truth that shapes everything I create:
“We all bloom differently, and that’s where the magic lives.”
I believe art is a place where we can be honest, expressive, and a little bit wild, where colours become a language and every piece tells its own story.
Each painting begins with instinct and evolves into something unique, layered, and full of life. I hope my work brings a sense of movement and uplifting calm into the spaces it’s welcomed into.
Thank you for supporting my journey and allowing my art to become part of yours.
Your creativity is a wild garden — trust what wants to grow.

About Me
Hello, I’m Cheryl — the artist and founder of Wild Petal Studio.
Creativity has always been a natural part of my life. From childhood, I found joy in making things with my hands, whether it was decorations, costumes, or early attempts at painting. Art has always been the place where I feel most grounded and expressive.
Although I wasn’t able to pursue formal art training due to my upbringing, the desire to create never left me. Over the years, life became busy with raising my four children, with my youngest still at home. But as they’ve grown, I’ve found the space to return to painting with a renewed sense of purpose and confidence.
The name Wild Petal Studio comes from a personal story. “Petal” is a nickname given to me by my partner, and the word wild reflects the freedom, movement, and spontaneity that shape my artistic process. Together, the name represents both my personal journey and the expressive nature of my work.
My painting journey began quietly, creating pieces for friends. As more people started requesting commissions, I realised there was genuine interest in my work. With encouragement from those around me, I made the decision to share my art more widely and establish my studio.
Through my abstract paintings, I aim to create pieces that invite reflection and discovery — works that reveal new details, emotions, or interpretations each time they’re viewed. Painting brings me a deep sense of fulfilment, and it is my hope that my work brings that same sense of beauty, curiosity, and calm to others.
